We believe that God is one in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that all three persons of God are equally important to our daily walk with God. Genesis 3:22, Psalms 90:2, Matthew 28:19, 1 Peter 1:2, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 10:30, 1Corinthians 8:6, 2 Corinthians 3:17, 2 Corinthians 1:21-22
We believe that God the Father sent his one and only Son to bridge the gap with His creation so we could be in communion with Him. We believe that the Father is the giver of gifts and loves to bless His children. Psalm 103:13, 1 John 3:1, John 1:12, Luke 12:32, James 1:17, John 14:6
We believe that Jesus was the Son of God in human form, but also fully God. Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit being conceived in the virgin Mary. Jesus humbled himself to step down from glory to live among humans by being human, to show us the way to live a holy life. Jesus died on a cross to carry our sins so that we could be forgiven and heal our sicknesses. Jesus also rose from the dead on the third day to prove that He is God. Lastly, we believe Jesus will be returning to rescue His bride and His bride will meet him in the air, so that we can live in the new heavens and new earth with Jesus for eternity. Matthew 1:22-23, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-5, 14:10-30, Hebrews 4:14-15, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Romans 1:3-4, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Timothy 6:14-15, Titus 2:13, Hebrews 12:2, 1 John 4:15, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3,23, Revelation 1:7, 22:12, Philippians 3:20
We believe that the Holy Spirit is introduced into a believer’s life right at the moment of Salvation. The Holy Spirit is the one who lives within individuals so that they can walk out a repentant life with the power of God living in them. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the one who speaks and guides us in truth, so we can stand strong for the Lord. The Holy Spirit produces fruit in our lives to show the evidence of Him living within us, and includes love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We also believe that the Holy Spirit leads us to Jesus and keeps us in a relationship with Jesus. We can’t see Jesus rightly and grow in our relationship with Jesus without the help of the Spirit of wisdom and revelation at work in our lives. The Holy Spirit is the one who prepares us for the second coming of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16:7-13, 14:16-17, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 2:12, 3:16, Luke 11:13 Ephesians 1:13, 5:18, Galatians 5:25
We believe that it is impossible to please God without faith. Putting our faith in Jesus is how we can receive salvation and be healed. Faith activates signs and wonders God wants to do in our life. It is possible for someone to lose faith in God and lose their assurance of the hope that God has placed inside them for eternity. Matthew 24:10-13, Hebrews 11:1,6, Mark 9:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, Matthew 15:28,17:20, 21:22, 2 Corinthians 5:7,11:3 James 1:6, 1:3, 5:15, 1John 5:4, 1 Timothy 4:1, Revelation 2:4-5, 2 Peter 2:20-22, Hebrews 3:12-19, Romans 11:19-22, James 1:12, Revelation 3:11, 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 2 Peter 3:17
We believe that salvation is the most important thing anyone could ever experience in their life. Salvation can only happen by making Jesus Christ Lord over one’s life. Salvation is only received by the working and the shedding of Jesus’ blood. We believe that Salvation is a free gift that is received by anyone who calls on the name of the Lord. Salvation is through faith not of any works. We believe that salvation means deliverance, and when a person encounters Jesus they are willing to repent and walk in the newness that Christ paid for on the cross. Romans 6:23, 5:1, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6, 1:12, Titus 3:5, Galatians 3:26
We believe that eternity is spent in the New Heavens and New Earth or in Hell. Jesus died on the cross so that anyone who believes in Him will get to spend eternity with Him in the New Heavens and New Earth. People who refuse to repent and believe that Jesus is Lord over their life will spend eternity in Hell. John 3:16, 14:17, 10:29, Romans 6:23, 8:17-18, Revelation 20:15, 1 Corinthians 2:7-9, 2 Timothy 1:12, Hebrews 7:25, 10:10, 1 Peter 1:3-5, Matthew 25:34,41,46, Luke 16:19-31, John 14:1-3, Revelation 20:11-15, John 17:3, 2 Thessalonians 1:9, Galatians 6:8, Philippians 1:23, Revelation 21
We believe that Sanctification is a process in the believer’s life. As a believer grows in relationship with Jesus, He will allow a believer’s life to be tested, so that He can strengthen faith and break things away from life that are not of Him. 2 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 2:21, Colossians 3:5, Hebrews 12:10,14, 1 Peter 1:2, 1 Thessalonians 4:2, 5:22, John 17:17, Philippians 1:6, James 1:2-4
We believe that water baptism is required after salvation for a believer to show the burial and resurrection that has taken place. We believe that baptism does not save but is an outward expression of one’s salvation. We believe in full immersion when being baptized in water. Luke 3:21-22, Mark 16:16, Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:41, Ephesians 4:4-6, 1 Peter 3:21, Acts 22:16, Romans 6:3-4, Galatians 3:26-27, John 3:5
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is very critical for a believer to experience with the Lord. The baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs after salvation in order to have a deeper encounter with Jesus. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is when the gifts of the Holy Spirit are activated within a believer’s life, producing empowered witnesses to share the Gospel around the world. We acknowledge the Holy Spirit is evident when He comes on us in the ability of speaking in tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, Luke 11:13, Acts 2:1-18, 1 Corinthians 14, Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:4-8, 10:44-47, 19:1-6
We believe that Divine healing is available for those who are in Christ. Jesus didn’t only die on the cross for our sins, but He also died on the cross so we could be completely healed within our soul, our mind, and our body. Healing was a critical piece to the Lord’s ministry while He was on earth and is still a pivotal part of the work today through the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:16, 1 Peter 2:24, James 5:14-16, 1 Corinthians 12:9, Mark 11:23-24, 16:18; Acts 28:8, Jeremiah 30:17, 33:6; 3 John 1:2, Exodus 15:26, Acts 10:38, 2 Chronicles 7:14
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. The Bible is the foundation for every believer to live life by giving instruction on how to walk a pure life. 2 Timothy 3:16, 1:13, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Psalms 119:105, 12:6, Proverbs 30:5
We believe that people are naturally sinful, disgusting, and wicked human beings but can be transformed by receiving Christ as Lord in our lives. Jesus gives new life so mankind can be born again into the family of Christ. Genesis 1:27, Psalms 8:3-6, Isaiah 53:6, 59:1-2, Romans 3:23
We believe that family is highly important and needs to be protected. When we believe in Jesus, we are brought into the family of God by becoming a child of God. We believe that the marriage bed should be kept holy and pure before marriage. We believe that God created a male and female to come together by creating a family, living the command to be fruitful and multiply. Genesis 1:26-28, 2:15-25, 3:1-20, 51:5, 78:1-8, 139:13-16, Exodus 20:12, Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Joshua 24:15, 1 Samuel 1:26-28, Proverbs 1:8, 5:15-20, 6:20-22, 12:4, 13:24, 14:1, 17:6, 18:22, 22:6, 22:15, 23:13-14, 24:3, 29:15, 29:17, 31:10-31, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, 9:9, Malachi 2:14-16, Matthew 5:31-32, 18:2-5, 19:3-9, Mark 10:6-12, Romans 1:18-32, 1 Corinthians 7:1-16, Ephesians 5:21-33, 6:1-4, Colossians 3:18-21, 1 Timothy 5:8, 5:14, 2 Timothy 1:3-5, Titus 2:3-5, Hebrews 13:4, 1 Peter 3:1-7
