Why Awaken Rivers Ministries Exists

People need Jesus. People need His presence in their lives in this dark world. The joy of the Lord, the peace that surpasses all understanding, and the in-filling of the Holy Spirit are fruits of the Lord’s presence in an individual’s life. There are many people who have never heard about Jesus. There is a need for local, national, and global missionaries to be raised up and sent out so others can encounter Jesus. We exist to reach the lost and equip believers to live a life awakened by the gospel to transformed the world.

Over 1800 language groups on earth have still never heard that God so loved them that he was willing to give His son for them to be saved.

3.23 billion total unreached which is 41.7% of the world.

70% of evangelical Christians are unaware that there are still people who have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Only 29% of Christians believe that reaching the unreached around the world is “very urgent."
