Misson

To AWAKEN students to Jesus, EQUIP them to share the gospel, and prepare them to be SENT into the local, national, and international mission fields. 

Why Awaken Rivers Ministries Exists

  People need Jesus. People need His presence in their lives in this dark world. The joy of the Lord, the peace that surpasses all understanding, and the in-filling of the Holy Spirit are fruits of the Lord’s presence in an individual’s life. There are many people who have never heard about Jesus. There is a need for local, national, and global missionaries to be raised up and sent out so others can encounter Jesus. We exist to reach the lost and equip believers to live a life awakened by the gospel to transformed the world. 

Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.

John 7:38

Restore Pentecost

Restore Pentecost is our 2025 Prophetic word of the year. 

We believe God wants to restore our prayer life, the simplicity of following Jesus, and living on mission locally and around the globe.  We believe that this year, the Holy Spirit will manifest His glory and become our best friend. It is time to allow the Holy Spirit to be the most attractive person in the room to lead us to Jesus.  We believe that this year, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit will empower people to live on mission by flowing in supernatural gifts.  

Act 2:1-2 "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting"

Acts 1:14 "All these with one accord were devoting themselves to prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus and his brothers."

Acts 1:8 "But you will recieve power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Our Goals

  1. Awaken Believers to the Presence of God in order for them to live on mission. 
  2. Equip Believers to share the Gospel and love the nations. 
  3. Send Believers on mission to the fulfill their calling.
